Read all the articles and they were all interesting. Particularly liked the iceberg one because although I can see the point about reducing collections in favour of digital, I do not think it will come to such a drastic move in Public libraries. There will always be people wanting print rather than digital.

Technology

I have just realized that i have not said anything about my favourite technology of the week..... those who know me well will say that I do not have a lot of technological knowledge!!!! Perhaps just getting my head around Web 2 is enough for the moment.

wikis

I had a look at the SJCPL page and the wikis entries and thought this looked as if one day i might use it. I think this could be great for finding authors in New Zealand... check to see if Manukau libraries has a wiki page on them.
